A-001 AsBuilt, the Contractor OS

POs in email. Certificates in a folder. Invoices in QuickBooks.

AsBuilt puts bids, POs, change orders, billing and certifications on one record, so you can see what is going on without being in the middle of everything. For certified contractors, GCs and trades doing about $3M to $30M a year.

An as-built is the one drawing that shows what was really built. AsBuilt is that drawing for your business. What Tekion built for car dealers, we build for contractors.

Free, 20 minutes, with Xavier from our team. We map every system you use to serve one job.

A-001.1 The problem

Five logins to serve one client.

Mark Riley sold cars at Asbury Automotive, a group of more than 150 dealerships. Serving one buyer took four or five systems, each with its own login: the CRM, inventory, the car's readiness, service, finance. When Asbury moved to one platform, the time it took to serve a buyer came down. Contractors still run on the stack, and the owner ends up being everybody: estimator, bookkeeper, dispatcher and the person who chases the signature.

If anyone has to leave the system to do a task, that task gets built into it. Already paying for Procore or QuickBooks? You do not start over. We start with the one process costing you the most.

A-001.2 What we build

One record, every desk.

What it runs

AsBuilt, the Contractor OS

Estimating, purchasing, submittals and billing on one record, built around how a real desk runs a real job. What the desk sees, the owner sees.

  • Takeoff from drawings, cited to the sheet
  • Purchase orders with the full compliance packet
  • E-signature with a certificate of who and when
  • Insurance certificates tracked to the day
  • AIA pay applications, G702 and G703
Who it is for

About $3M to $30M a year

Certified contractors, GCs and trades in commercial, fit-out or institutional work, with several jobs running and a record worth owning.

It is not for you if:

  • You do residential remodeling or homebuilding
  • You are under about $3M a year and one person can still hold every job in their head
  • You want a cheaper seat rather than a different model

A-001.4 Site check

See what a buyer sees, in 30 seconds.

Put in your website. We read it and your public record the way a contracting officer or a new client would, and show you the first thing they would flag. Private, free, and a person from the studio follows up.

The first finding shows here, free. The full check comes by email: we ask for a name and an email, nothing else required. Your check is private. · See AsBuilt

In July a commercial GC saw what we found. Ten days later we were building their system.

A-001.5 How it starts

One ladder. No surprise invoices.

Every engagement starts with a free read and one working desk of your own business before you pay for a full build. You pay as each milestone goes live, never in advance.

A-001.6 The studio

“There are no secrets. There are systems.”

Great Breads began in Harlem in 2006. Today it builds the system owners run their business on, starting with its own. The founder, Mark Riley, sold cars at Asbury, monitored transactions at Goldman Sachs and studied at Morehouse before he built the record he wished every client had.
