June: the code starts, and the store steps back

Written in October 2026, from that month's record.

On June 18 we put the website under version control and started keeping every change in one repository. Everything we have built since is in that history.

The same day we opened a public sector practice, with a page for buyers in government. By June 19 the first tools were running: one watched federal opportunities on SAM.gov and Grants.gov, and four more did the studio's own work, covering lead research, website audits, proposals and a morning briefing. We called them Studio OS.

On June 23 we took the clothing line out of the site's main navigation. The store was still there, but it was no longer the front door.

On June 25 we built our own booking page, so a call no longer started in someone else's software. On June 28 we prepared a demo of GovCon OS for Bell Imaging: the government opportunities that fit a certified firm, in one place.

June was the month the studio started running on a system instead of on me.
