Written in October 2026, from that month's record.
October started in rooms. On October 1, at Con Edison's SEED summit, I met Ray Hughes of RCH Mechanical, a pump and motor repair shop in the Bronx. He signed on October 5. On October 12 his desk went live, and RCH became the second contractor on AsBuilt and the first that isn't a general contractor.
On October 3 we paused the cold email we had been sending. About ninety certified contractors had received it and none had answered. Our clients have come from people, not cold email, so that is where the time goes now.
On October 6 we applied for New York City M/WBE certification. On October 11 AsBuilt moved to its own site, runorrery.com, and greatbreadsstudio.com became the studio's house. On October 13 the AsBuilt app shipped for iPhone.
The rest of October is in the posts that follow this one.
